• Have you ever needed to upload or send your recorded CD audio? This tutorial covers the steps for extracting audio from a CD to a MP3 audio file using Adobe Audition.
    1. OPEN ADOBE AUDITION Audio Editing Program.
    2. Insert the CD into your DVD/CD Drive
    3. If prompted by your operating system to open or play the CD, choose CANCEL.
    4. From the Adobe Audition Navigation Menu, Choose FILE>EXTRACT AUDIO FROM CD
    5. Select the CHECK BOX to EXTRACT TO SINGLE WAVEFORM. Enter TEXT INFORMATION for the file. Click OK.
    6. A Status Window appears and the program begins working.
    7. When Abode Audition has completed the audio extraction, the status window will go away and the waveform of the extracted audio file will appear. The extracted audio file is untitled and will need to be saved.
    8. From the Adobe Audition Navigation Menu, Choose FILE>SAVE AS…
    9. A window appears. Choose the location where you would like to save the extracted audio file. Choose the MP3 Audio Format.
    10. Name the file. Click the SAVE button.
