If you would like to manually ping Itunes you can:
1) You’ll need your podcast id number which is the nine digit number that appears in your Itunes Music Store URL. Looks like this: http://phobos.apple.com/WebObjects/MZStore.woa/wa/viewPodcast?id=837092836 The last part of the URL should be a number approximately nine digits long appearing after the string “id=xxxxxxxxx”
2) Copy this link and paste it into your webbrowser – https://phobos.apple.com/WebObjects/MZFinance.woa/wa/pingPodcast?id=xxxxxxxxx Replace the x’s with your Podcast Id Number. Then hit enter/return.
You should get a message saying the ping was received and you’ll see the podcast feed link. Within a few minutes Itunes should be updated with your podcast.
